After a highly successful premiere performance in 2022, Carlow based choreographer Róisín Whelan returns to VISUAL with Man Down, a gripping dance production featuring an outstanding ensemble cast of four dancers set to an original score by Carlow composer Aoife Kavanagh.
Roisin Whelan’s choreography confronts issues of loneliness and isolation through exquisite dance storytelling. In this highly theatrical narrative dance, reality isn’t always as it seems. Man Down brings together evocative lighting and a foreboding set design that amplify the turmoil of one man’s internal world.
